FragMatrix was founded in Sydney in 2019 by a group of passionate gamers who were frustrated by review sites that prioritised advertising relationships over honest criticism. We set out to build something different: a platform where every review is written by someone who has genuinely played the game, and where editorial independence is non-negotiable.
Today, FragMatrix is one of Australia's most-read gaming publications, with a team of twelve full-time reviewers and correspondents based across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. We cover everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems, and our esports desk provides some of the most detailed tournament analysis in the region.
